Photoshoots 101/ ¿Cómo salir bien en las fotos?

I have so many people that come to me and tell me how photogenic I am when all I do is having fun with the pictures, so here are some of my tips to look hot in the shots ;)

1. Love your own beauty: There is absolutely no way that you would love any pic you are in if you do not actually love your own beauty. As I always say: " Confidence has endless uses" so this is one!/ Aprende a querer tu propia belleza: Hay miles y miles tipos de belleza, tantos como personas y si no aprendes a querer tus rasgos, no va a haber fotógrafo capaz de sacar la foto de tus sueños porque amas algo que tú no eres. Como yo siempre digo: " La confianza en uno mismo es muy práctica" y éste es uno de sus usos.
2. Stand up straight/ ¡Ponte recta!
3. Laugh a little: Thinking the camera is your best friend ALWAYS works/ ¡Ríete! Pensar que la cámara es tu mejor amiga ayuda SIEMPRE.
4. Feel what you are trying to express with your face: if you wanna look fearless, feel fearless. I think we all have those pictures in which we are trying- way too hard- to look happy and we look fake, so this is the perfect advice for that. Siente lo que estás intentando reflejar en la foto: Todos tenemos alguna que otra foto por ahí- a punto de ser quemada- en la que intentamos estar felicísimos y parecemos más falsos que el decirlo...¿El problema? Tú cara no miente, reflejas lo que sientes...Así que procura trabajar en eso ;)
5. Make up wise: Playing up your lips and adding a flush is the typical advice that everyone tells us but adding sparkly eyeshadow in the inner corner is the kind of pro tip that you can get at my blog ;)En cuanto al maquillaje, el típico consejo de añadir colorete y algo de color a los labios está más que visto, queremos tips profesionales, y dónde mejor los dan es aquí en Shine On, así que coge papel y lápiz y apunta: sombra iluminadora en el lagrimal y agrandarás la mirada fácilmente ;)
6. Have fun! It is JUST A PICTURE not the end of the world. Y por último: por el amor de Dios, ¡Diviértete! Es una foto, no el fin del mundo :)

10 things to do before summer ends/ 10 cosas que hacer antes de que acabe el verano

Am I the only one who thinks that time flies by way too fast? I think the main problem with having more than a month of summmer break it is that it comes to a point that we underestimate free time...Lazy days may be good, but if you do not want to be back on track and regretting all those unproductive days I think it is time to inspire you to get active!
Dime que no soy la única que piensa que el tiempo vuela...Creo que el principal problema de tener más de un mes de vacaciones, es que llega un punto en el que no subestimamos el tiempo libre y nos hacemos demasiado amantes de la vida relajada, dejando así de hacer cosas que queríamos hacer. ¡Así que deja el mando que el zapping ni es un deporte, ni supondrá un recuerdo importante que marcará tu vida!

1. Write!: I know that you may not be exactly into reading or into blogging, but there are few things that I like better in life than writting stories, so give it a try!/ Escribe: poca cosas hay en este mundo que a mí me relajen más que dejar volar la imaginación y escribir :) ¡Que no me entere yo, que no le das una oportunidad a este hobbie tan barato-para uno que hay...-!
2. Try a new sport: Do you know how you have allways admired someone that was really good at something? Go ahead and try it! Life is too short to think too much!/ Prueba un deporte nuevo: Seguro que hay algún deportista al que admiras, pues por sorprendente que te parezca estáis hechos los dos de carne y hueso, si él puede, tú también ;)
3. Meet new people: Go ahead and talk to a stranger, honestly who cares? Or give a try to that person you already know. Chances are that you always learn something from someone./ Conoce a alguien nuevo, no hay nadie que no admire a quien se le acerca a hablar sin conocerlo de nada, así que ya que no tienes nada que perder...¡Lánzate!
4. Do a last minute trip with your friends, it is never too late!/ Haz un viaje exprés con tus amigos,nunca es demasiado tarde para vivir aventuras, ¿no?
5. Learn to love yourself: The lack of confidence it is not sexy, get over it! ;)/ Aprende a quererte, sacarse defectos no es sexy,¡supéralo!
6. Do not care about what people think about you for a day, trust me you will love it so much that this will become your lifestyle./ Pasa un día sin que te importe un pimiento lo que piensa la gente, hazme caso es adictivo y acabarás viviendo bajo ese mantra ;)
7. Take pictures, trust me those images are the ones that will take you throughout the year and what's more they are great cheap decor items for your dorm. / Haz fotos! Es la forma más barata y más efectiva de decorar tu habitación y es lo que querrás mirar en los meses de trabajo para recordar.
8. Learn a new language: There are no excuses, there are so many webpages online that allow you to have a basic knowledge of any language completely free./ Aprende un nuevo idioma, ya no tienes excusas hay mil webs que te enseñan lo básico de forma gratuita y de cualquier idioma.
