Preppy Haul + Outfit of the Day

I bet you have probably noticed a little bit of a change in what I consider, my little home in the Internet. I am the kind of person that needs certain things in her life, to reflect the stage she is, and those "things" are basically: my hair and my blog. So, I totally needed to do a bit of work in the design, structure and probably the contents as well, but that's another story.
The truth is, that I am having you here today, because I was in need of oxford shirts. So, I went shopping and bought some fun printed ones, even though I told myself I was going to go neutral- I am such a pretty little liar to myself. The moment I saw these two adorable shirts neatly folded and waiting for me, I knew we were meant to be an item.
I bought theses two button-ups at Springfield for 40 Euros and I couldn't wait to go home and see how great they would look with my beloved collection of necklaces. What can I say? I am such a girl!

I also was having an all-Cinderella day, probably because of Valentine's day, and I purchased this pink, but still neutral nail polish from Catrice at a Müller shop for nearly 3 euros.

Last but not least, I wanted to show you my latest video that features a typical outfit of the day for college. Hope you enjoy!

Just me & My College Style

Edgy. Trendy. Hipster.Boho.Preppy. This are just a few of the styles, I have fearlessly tried throughout the year. I owe my current style to all of them, so I am not embarrased of any of my "creations" at all.But recently I have learned to forget about style definitions and just focus on answering one question: Do you like it Andrea? Is it an "Andrea" outfit? Yes? Okay, let's wear this. I have honestly, never felt more relieved, free and creatively active in my life. When I say "Yes" to an outfit, I don't even think about what other people may say about it, because I already have the approval of the most-hard-to-please person I know,me.
For today's post, I am bringing you my current favourite pairing for going to college. They are comfy, a bit nerdy and fun. Just me.
Edgy. Trendy. Hipster. Bohemia. Preppy.

A Preppy College Wardrobe!

Sin título #15

You are not the one that wakes up in the morning trying to put together a really good outfit, but inspiration just doesn't come...Today's post is a little guide for those mornings!

As you can see I layered to pattern pieces  that are going to be the main focus in the outfit. You are allowed to mix patterns, in fact, I made a guide about how to do it a couple months ago click here to check it out! Then added a bit of a camo touch and some classic accesories!

This look is more business formal oriented, so pearls, A-line dress and accesories with a subtle metallic touch and a pop of a jewel tone colour, to be classy avoiding the granny look.

Which one was your favourite?

Summer Festival Must haves ( only for Socialites!)....

Ever since Gossip Girl said: " You are nobody until you are talked about" the word socialite has been winning fans, but in case you live under the rock and have no idea what this means, A socialite is the reason why you go to a party, so see her in her fab outfits and her fab friends, everything she touches becomes gold. So, it is pretty obvious that in every summer festival or concert worth watching Socialites will be there. In case you are curious of knowing what is in their suitcases ( of course you are!) I am showing you in  5 easy steps what to pack to steal the spotlight.

  1. It bag: Every single socialite needs a bag that represents her, the key is to go for something you would not typically go to, but that is surprisingly wearable. Tips? Pastel colors, soft prints, satchel  with a twist ( see first pic in the post and check num.1)
  2. Crop tops: These are the comfiest things ever for the summer, but can be so boring and plain sometimes...try to go for pastel prints again, denim, floral and solid fun colours.
  3. High waited shorts and skirts: These are crop tops best friends, and the key of dressing to success is showing the right amount of skin ( and the most flattering amount) that is to say, your waist. So if you spot one of these in sale, go for it Glen Coco, go for it!
  4. Flat dressy sandals: Every single good investmends needs a good rate of return, so a pair of dressy flat sandals are your best friends for summer, since you can take them from day to night and be comfy in chic.
  5. Accesories, yes please!: Whatever catches your eye when buying accesories, go for it and wear it. It is such a personal touch that must be added to any outfit that the only tip I have for you is go for whatever catches your eye.
