Consejos para tu empezar tu blog, sea de lo que sea - by Andrea Ramírez

Hoy me he dado cuenta de que llevo dos años y medio ya por la blogosfera y recuerdo el momento en el que le dí a "publicar" como si fuese ayer.

¿Lo leerá alguien?¿Me quedaré sin cosas de las que hablar? Vamos, lo que nos preguntamos todos los que alguna vez hemos empezado un cuaderno de bitácora como éste. Y, no se si sabéis lo mejor, pero nos lo seguimos preguntando, día tras día. Da igual los comentarios o los seguidores que lleguemos a tener, nos va a seguir pareciendo extraterrestre que a alguien le interese lo que podamos aportar.

De cada vez, más gente me escribe a través de Youtube y me pide algún que otro consejo para empezar un  blog y, lo cierto es que te lo voy a contar ahora mismo a ti- que lo mismo no te interesa y no me has pedido nunca consejo, pero bueno tómatelo como #culturillageneral.

1. Paso a paso

Lo vas a querer hacer todo perfecto desde el primer momento, pero no es posible. Te vas a equivocar, vas a dudar del contenido y del aspecto de tu blog, vas a poner las imágenes demasiado grandes... Y lo que es más, no vas a conseguir que tu blog sea exactamente como quieres que sea en dos días. Sin embargo, todo esto es normal, nadie que vea que estás empezando te va a pedir que tengas una experiencia que no tienes. Y hay encanto en un blog que empieza, créeme. No pienses que tienes menos posibilidades de eclipsar al lector, porque nunca has hecho nada parecido. Una historia recién empezada tiene un poder infravalorado.

2. Siempre ready

La inspiración te va a llegar en el momento en el que menos te lo esperas, y, de hecho, la única razón por la que casi siempre tengo algo de lo que hablar, es porque las apunto en seguida que se me ocurren. Muchos bloggers tienen un cuaderno que llevan siempre consigo, mientras que otros prefieren las notas de su teléfono. Yo, por el contrario, utilizo ambas y tengo mi propio sistema:

•  El cuaderno: En casa, tengo un cuaderno en el que desarrollo ideas, tanto para posts como para vídeos. En ella hay escrito desde simples frases que acabarán siendo títulos, hasta dibujos de los planos concretos que quiero grabar para el vídeo. 
• Las notas en mi Iphone: Las mejores ideas surgen de experiencias reales, por ello utilizo mi teléfono para apuntarme rápidamente todo aquello que se me ocurra y poder desarrollarlo luego en mi cuaderno.

3. Sigue a quien te inspire
Si hay algo de lo que realmente me siento orgullosa de este mundillo, es que hay sitio para todo el mundo y tenemos una gran variedad de bloggers con muchísimo talento, lo que quiere decir que es importante que dediques tiempo a buscar aquellos que más te gusten y seguirlos. Ya sea a través de Bloglovin o Facebook. Pero no dejes de seguirlos porque es una fuente de inspiración, muy importante.

4. Aprende
Como bien te he dicho antes, nadie nace sabiendo y nosotros no somos la excepción, así que nos toca aprender por nuestra cuenta un poquitín. Hay miles de posts sobre aquello que más nos preocupa: HTML. Así que, ya tienes deberes ;)

5. Prueba cosas nuevas
Es parte de nuestro hobby estar al día de las últimas novedades en redes sociales, y son éstas las que le dan mayor dimensión a nuestro contenido. No es sólo una entrada magnífica sobre ( insertar tema aquí ), sino que es la persona detrás de ella que es accesible a través de, por ejemplo, Twitter. Y, si te apetece grabar vídeos y abrir un canal de YouTube como yo hice, pues genial.

                                                           

                                                   ¡No tengas miedo!

Es tan fácil como decidirte entre Blogger o Wordpress- porque Tumblr vas a acabar teniendo igualmente- escribir algo que te encantaría leer, publicar y contárselo a todo el que puedas a través de las redes sociales.

Akward Goodbyes

When we grow up, we are pretty much bombarded with superheroes and their unbelievable adventures. Honestly, I was never a big fan of those, but somehow I still was able to pick the message: Grow up into a Superwoman.

The truth is that, even though "The Joker" itself is not a daily disturbance, I have to deal with a few villains every now and then- mostly men boys. Because let's face it I would never (EVER!) in a million years refer to them as men. Hopefully my blind obsession with bad boys flies away and I find a good gentleman someday when I least expect it. The real deal in here is that you need to be some kind of real life cold queen if you want to protect your heart- or your entire self- from certain jerks that will jump in your way. They, might be immature, stupid and easy to hate, but regrettably they may be charming and drive you crazy as well. So, when a certain lady I know very-very  well, met Ken she fell head over heels for him. He was sweet, not very immature and actually really funny wild. He was not from the same city as she was, but that never mattered to both of them- at the beginning- they pretended to be friends, but they were crazy for each other. Well, there were a few big-headed jokers in this story. Two devilish frenemies- goodness, they are invading us. They pretty much threw a campaign against my beloved friend and since Ken "beach boy" was not as smart as expected, he believed them and slowly walked away- because he claims to be really polite and that's how polite little boys get the hell out. She could not believe what was happening, her friend betrayed her and Ken who over all was a great support, sneaked out of her heart.

Why am I telling you this story? Because the more I grow up, the more I hate people who don't know how to properly say goodbye. They like to be sneaky, just in case the odds may ever be in their favour and they need to make a comeback. That drives me insane, if you want to say goodbye, say it. Do not ignore someone and favourite or RT their tweets, so that they don't hate you too much. To have a clean resumé, just in case they need that person back. To not have too much of a dark story left behind. Well, when it comes to this issues I am as queen-like as it gets, I don't give second chances to the ones who don't deserve it. I am no Mother Theresa. Being kind and honest and valuing your own opinion over the one from others, especially about what/who you like is cheap. So, stop being fake boys, we want real men.

So here it is to the superwoman I know you are, don't believe in someone that doesn't treat you like a treasure. Someone will, as a matter of fact, you should be the one who does it, because maybe some smart boy will be able to read between lines and learn what it takes to be your partner in crime. 

Team Shine On Dinner

 Thursday nights can be fun nights out too, specially when you have no class the next day. Me and the newest member of the so called #TeamShineOn, Marcos (@marcosrado) went to have dinner at Foste'r Hollywood. We also brianstormed a couple amazing ideas for "Shine On" and made some exciting plans for the future. Of course we took a few pictures, just to show you my oufit!

 Las salidas nocturnas en jueves son más que una buen idea, especialmente cuando no tienes clase al día siguiente. Yo y mi nuevo miembro del #TeamShineOn, Marcos(@marcosrado)nos fuimos a cenar a Foster's Hollywood. Estuvimos debatiendo sobre posibles planes para "Shine On" y su futuro. Por supuesto que tomamos unas fotos y os la traigo aquí para que veáis mi outfit.

Just me & My College Style

Edgy. Trendy. Hipster.Boho.Preppy. This are just a few of the styles, I have fearlessly tried throughout the year. I owe my current style to all of them, so I am not embarrased of any of my "creations" at all.But recently I have learned to forget about style definitions and just focus on answering one question: Do you like it Andrea? Is it an "Andrea" outfit? Yes? Okay, let's wear this. I have honestly, never felt more relieved, free and creatively active in my life. When I say "Yes" to an outfit, I don't even think about what other people may say about it, because I already have the approval of the most-hard-to-please person I know,me. 

For today's post, I am bringing you my current favourite pairing for going to college. They are comfy, a bit nerdy and fun. Just me.

Edgy. Trendy. Hipster. Bohemia. Preppy. Estos son sólo algunos de los estilos por los que he pasado durante mi vida - hasta ahora- a cada outfit que he llevado y cada estilo que he intentado emular durante los años, le debo dar las gracias porque han retroalimentado mi estilo y, de alguna manera, en quién me he convertido hoy. Hace relativamente poco,  he decidido liberarme de las diversas categorías que en cuanto a estilos de vestir existen y, al levantarme por la mañana lo único que me pregunto es si ese outfit me gusta. Y, cuando consigo un SÍ como una casa, logro mi outfit "Andrea". Creo que es, en cuanto a moda se refiere, la mejor decisión que he tomado, porque la libertad creativa y lo cómoda que me siento conmigo misma cuando llevo ese estilo, es poco comparable con otras cosas.Y lo que es más, ni siquiera me planteo en si a la gente le va a gustar mi conjunto, porque ya tengo satisfecha a la persona más crítica y perfeccionista que he conocido jamás, a mí misma.

Así que para el post de hoy, os he traído unos cuantos outfits que reflejan muy bien mi estilo para ir a clase. Son cómodos, nerdy y divertidos. Es decir, son muy Andrea.

    The most magical time of the year is about to come in exactly a month so I though that this week's outfit should have some red accent notes to start getting in the jolly spirit! Hope you enjoy it :)

A Preppy College Wardrobe!

You are not the one that wakes up in the morning trying to put together a really good outfit, but inspiration just doesn't come...Today's post is a little guide for those mornings!
No eres la única que se levanta por la mañana con la intención de crear un "outfit" épico, pero la diosa de la moda no la ilumina. ¡Así que me he decidido a darte un par de ideas para esas mañanas sin iluminación divina!

As you can see I layered to pattern pieces  that are going to be the main focus in the outfit. You are allowed to mix patterns, in fact, I made a guide about how to do it a couple months ago click here to check it out! Then added a bit of a camo touch and some classic accesories!
Como puedes ver, he unido dos prendas con print. Este tipo de mezclas están permitidas, de hecho hace unos meses hice una guía sobre como combinar prints. ¡Pincha aquí!He añadido un toque de camuflaje y accesorios muy básicos para acabar de complementar el look. 

 This look is more business formal oriented, so pearls, A-line dress and accesories with a subtle metallic touch and a pop of a jewel tone colour, to be classy avoiding the granny look.
 Este look, está orientado a una ocasión de negocios en un ámbito más formal. Vestido de estilo "A", complementos con toque metálico y para romper la sobriedad, un blazer en un tono "jewel" para darle fuerza al outfit. De esta manera, conseguimos un look clásico (y preppy) evitando evocar el look de las abuelitas yendo a misa ( Ojo! Que yo las adoro, pero no es del todo mi estilo)

A Natural Moisturizer Review

Since yesterday I uploaded a "Skincare Routine" video, you can probably tell that I have been pretty obsessed with this subject. Just a few days after filming that video, I went shopping and found myself really attracted to Bio skincare products. Why Bio? Because they are based on natural products and avoid harsh substances that can be damaging to your skin. Sounds good, right?
From all those products, this one absolutely caught my eye, because it has 2 of my favourite natural ingredients that I had tried before, on their own, and my skin reacted amazingly to them. The ingredients I am talking about are: aloe vera and Karité. The aloe vera, besides moisturizing, repairs my skin like no other and the karité provides me long lasting moisture. When it comes to the texture I will say it is a bit thicker than the ones I am used to but not too oily at all. I have combination to oily skin and for the winter I need something like this for the morning.

Ya que ayer subí un vídeo a mi canal en inglés sobre mi rutina facial, supongo que os habéis dado cuenta de que vuestra Andrea está un pelín obsesionada con los productos de cuidado facial. Pero es que encima vienen a mí, sí tal cual lo leéis, resulta que el otro día haciendo la compra en CARREFOUR, encontré una línea de cuidado facial BIO y no me pude resistir a cogerme esta hidatante de día. ¿Por qué Bio? Porque sus ingredientes son totalmente naturales y no contiene parabenos ni esas sustancias que tan poco bien nos hacen a la piel. Concretamente, esta crema contiene: aloe vera y manteca de Karité. Dos productos naturales, que ya he probado por separado y os digo sinceramente que lo bien que mi piel reacciona a ambos es impresionante. El aloe vera repara, mientras que la manteca de karité nos asegura suavidad e hidratación por más tiempo.
En cuanto a la textura, es más concentrada de lo que estoy acostumbrada pero no es demasiado grasa, y de hecho para usarla por la mañana debajo del maquillaje me viene perfecto, especialmente para los meses más fríos, en los que me piel a pesar de ser mixta, se seca un poco más.
¿Habéis probado algún producto Bio de cuidado facial? He estado viendo algunas youtubers que hablan sobre cosmética natural, ¿Tenéis alguna favorita?

Hi beauties! I know I have been gone, for like FOREVER. But, the truth is that I haven't been exactly gone as I have been updating my 2 youtube channels weekly and non stop!

Hola a todos! Se que he estado desaparecida, o eso es lo que os puede haber dado la impresión, porque lo cierto es que no! He estado en Youtube subiendo nuevo contenido en mis 2 canales. Ya sabéis que me encanta comunicarme con vosotr@s, así que por eso me he decidido a hacer un calendario semanal con todo lo que os tengo programado, para que lo veáis más claro. Make up For Glasses/ Maquillaje para gafas

 

Hi Beauties! Today I am bringing you some quick tips for Sonia, one of my readers who recently emailed me to make a tutorial for glasses. My first tip is to have a bold make up look that is pretty simple. The steps?
1. Line you upper eyes firs closely to the lid and then make it slightly thicker.  Line your waterline if you want but its not necessary.
2. Curl your lashes.
3. 2 coats of mascara

Hola guapos/as! Os traigo un par de truquitos a petición de Sonia, una de mis lectoras. Ella me envió un mail pidiéndome un tutorial fácil para gafas y apto para el día a día. MI primer consejo es que apostéis por looks simples pero un poco atrevidos como eyeliner un tanto grueso- sin pasarse-.
1. Delinear el ojo cerca de las pestañas, delinear por encima para obtener mayor grosor. También podéis delinear la línea del agua con lápiz peor no es necesario para el look.
2. Rizad las pestañas.
3. Aplicar dos capas de máscara de pestañas.

Hoy os traigo un vídeo sobre la campaña "LOVE IS LOUDER"  que trata de todo un poco pero sobre todo bullying, problemas de autoestima- los cuales llevan a problemas alimenticios o "cutting"- y en definitiva cualquier tipo de problema inducido por la presión social. ¡Espero que os guste!
