A Natural Moisturizer Review

Since yesterday I uploaded a "Skincare Routine" video, you can probably tell that I have been pretty obsessed with this subject. Just a few days after filming that video, I went shopping and found myself really attracted to Bio skincare products. Why Bio? Because they are based on natural products and avoid harsh substances that can be damaging to your skin. Sounds good, right?
From all those products, this one absolutely caught my eye, because it has 2 of my favourite natural ingredients that I had tried before, on their own, and my skin reacted amazingly to them. The ingredients I am talking about are: aloe vera and Karité. The aloe vera, besides moisturizing, repairs my skin like no other and the karité provides me long lasting moisture. When it comes to the texture I will say it is a bit thicker than the ones I am used to but not too oily at all. I have combination to oily skin and for the winter I need something like this for the morning.

Ya que ayer subí un vídeo a mi canal en inglés sobre mi rutina facial, supongo que os habéis dado cuenta de que vuestra Andrea está un pelín obsesionada con los productos de cuidado facial. Pero es que encima vienen a mí, sí tal cual lo leéis, resulta que el otro día haciendo la compra en CARREFOUR, encontré una línea de cuidado facial BIO y no me pude resistir a cogerme esta hidatante de día. ¿Por qué Bio? Porque sus ingredientes son totalmente naturales y no contiene parabenos ni esas sustancias que tan poco bien nos hacen a la piel. Concretamente, esta crema contiene: aloe vera y manteca de Karité. Dos productos naturales, que ya he probado por separado y os digo sinceramente que lo bien que mi piel reacciona a ambos es impresionante. El aloe vera repara, mientras que la manteca de karité nos asegura suavidad e hidratación por más tiempo.
En cuanto a la textura, es más concentrada de lo que estoy acostumbrada pero no es demasiado grasa, y de hecho para usarla por la mañana debajo del maquillaje me viene perfecto, especialmente para los meses más fríos, en los que me piel a pesar de ser mixta, se seca un poco más.
¿Habéis probado algún producto Bio de cuidado facial? He estado viendo algunas youtubers que hablan sobre cosmética natural, ¿Tenéis alguna favorita?

Summer 2013 Trends: Surfer Girls Edition

Hi Beauties! Those of you who have been following me for a while, you know that the only trends I follow like cray cray are the my trends. Little beauty and fashion obsessions that seem attractive to me at the moment. I am going to show you my new favourite trends inspired by my latest favourite sport: surf.

Todos lo que me seguís desde hace ya un tiempo, sabéis que me gusta hacer mis propias tendencias que seguir, es decir recojo todo lo que me llama la atención en este momento y lo llevo al terreno de la moda y la belleza. Hoy, os he traído una serie de tendencias basadas en un deporte que últimamente me llama mucho la atención: el surf.

1. Ombré hair: The idea of sunkissed hair is so attractive to me, I love it! Stay tuned because I will talk you a bit more about that soon ;)

 1.Mechas californianas/ Degradado: El efecto de aclarado del peo por el sol, a mi personalmente me llama bastante la atención y de hecho muy pronto os hablaré de ello ;)

 

  2. Nude lips. Nothing screams sexy more tan a well done nude lip. I have been thinking about making a video about how to achieve that look. If you would like to see that, leave me a comment down below!

 

2.Labios nude: No hay nada mas sexy en veranito que unos labios nude. He estado pensando en grabar un video dónde os enseñe como conseguirlo y mis productos favoritos. ¿Os apetece? ¡Pues déjame un comentario y os lo tendré listo en breves!

Blogger Diaries Ep 3: Exams & Lindrea (Lily + Andrea)

Haven't you heard? Partial exams are invading our agendas and making our lives way less social... This week, my life revolved around Accounting and Statistics. Pretty fun, right? Well, my university life is not that bad thanks to my awesome friends, but I wanted to make a huge shout out to one of my best friends, Lily! She is beyond sweet, caring, kind and gorgeous. In fact, hanging out with her has become one of my favourite hobbies (We will film a video together anytime soon so look for that!)
 Between classes, besides being silly, talking about our huge Lizzie Mcguire obsession, and sun bathing on the bleachers, one of my favourite things to do has been making collages of our mini us. Wanna see an example-or a couple ones-?

¿No lo habéis oído? Los exámenes parciales están invadiendo nuestras agendas y atentando seriamente contra nuestra vida social... Esta semana, mi vida ha tenido como protagonistas al libro de contabilidad y los Power Points de estadística. Suena bien, ¿a que sí? Bueno, mi vida universitaria no es tan terrible gracias a mis maravillosos amigos. Entre ellos hoy me toca destacar a una de mis mejores amigas, Lily. Mi Lily es dulce,cariñosa, se preocupa por mí y además de todo eso es preciosa. Pasar el rato con ella se ha convertido en mi hobby preferido ( grabaremos juntas muy prontito estad atent@s). Entre clase y clase nos las areglamos para pasarlo bomba, hacemos el tonto ( imitaciones incluidas),marujeamos, recordamos nuestra obsesión por Lizzie Mcguire, tomamos el sol en las gradas... Blogger Diaries: Social Media 101

Hi  Everyone! I am bringing you today a very requested post for those of you who are new into this world. Apparently social networking is one of your main issues. So,I thought that it would be interesting, showing you the basics and different uses of all of them.

Hola a todos! Hoy os traigo una entrada que muchos/as me habéis pedido. Está destinada a todo aquel que lleve poquito tiempo en este mundillo y desee combinar su blog con la redes sociales, ya que tiene un peso muy importante en el momento de promocionar vuestro blog.

First of all, social networking is an essential part of being a blogger, because it allows you to connect with people in many different ways. The main objective is to make yourself approachable and reliatable, so that they know you are more than an outfit.

En primer lugar, las redes sociales son una herramienta esencial, porque nos ayudan a reducir esa distancia emocional, ya que es una interacción entre personas que no conocemos físicamente y de esta forma nos podemos mostrar mas accesibles y en definitiva demostrar que somso más que un outfit bien combinado.

The main social networks are: Facebook, Twitter, Pinterest and also we must include bloglovin.

Las plataformas principales son: Facebook, Twitter, Pinterest y por supuesto bloglovin.

Facebook: The best way is to create a Fan Page. It takes literally 2 minutes and it is really easy. What can you do there? Show your updates to those who follow you, and share the behind the scenes of everything related to your blog.
Facebook: La mejor manera de promocionar vuestro blog via Facebook, de forma gratuita, es creando una "Facebook Fan Page" de forma que vuestros amigos puedan darle a "Me gusta" y así dar a conocer vuestro blog. Pero, ¿qué debemos publicar exactamente? Las entradas nuevas del blog con un link y una foto y un poco lo que se cuece en el momento de preparar un post.

Twitter: This is the kind of tool that needs to express who you are, you can tell your followers about your updates too, but the main thing is showing who you are and your opinion about different topics wether they are related or not to your blog.  My advice? Talk about your daily life, and share your opinion on topics that affect you. Another essential part of twitter is who you need to follow, I will say employees at enterprise that you may want to work in the future is a nice idea, as well as other bloggers. But it is really up to you.

Twitter: Twitter, es una herramienta para mostrar quien eres realmente. Por supuesto que también podéis ( y debéis) publicar un link a vuestra nueva entrada, pero para mí lo que la hace diferente es que puedes opinar sobre temas de actualidad, hablar de vuestro día a día, y seguir a gente muy interesante. Yo creo que esto último es clave para ampliar nuestros contactos, así que os recomiendo que sigáis a otros bloggers y a profesionales del campo en que vuestro blog pueda encajar más en cuanto a temática ( Si os hace ilusión también podéis seguir a vuestro amor platónico de hollywood, yo ahí ya no me meto).

Pinterest:  This one is my favourite, it is my little baby hahaha. The main purpose is showing your visual artwork, it can be pictures of outfits, diys, any visuals or collages that you may do. But also creating boards, which are folders with pictures that mean something to you. I like having one for quotes, but anything that really interests you is what you need to share. As the name says, the main objective is to inspire others and show them interesting material.

Pinterest: Esta última es mi favorita. El objetivo es, mostrar vuestro trabajo visual, ya sea con fotos de outfits, diy o el collage de tu carpeta para ir a clase. Podéis crear carpetas con fotos ordenadas por temáticas. A mi, personalmente me gusta tener una con frases que me puedan llamar la atención, pero realmente la clave está en compartir aquello que a nosotras nos interese, porque seguramente sirve para inspirar a otra persona.

1. Pastel and Floral jeans are my it items for spring. In fact, I have bought similar pairs to the ones I am showing you. Do you want a haul about that? Let me know in the comments. My tip is to go for softer shades so that, even though they are fun colours and prints, it is still easy to put an outfit together ( we do not want early morning fashion sudokus level 283746 to solve).  Los colores pastel y los prints florales hacen que esos pantalones sean mi prenda fetiche para estos meses. De hecho ya he salido a la caza y captura de unos pantalones así. ¿Los queréis ver un haul? Hacédmelo saber es los comentarios! Si me permitís un truquito a tener en mente si salís en su búsqueda, tonos suaves tanto para los pantalones de colores atrevidos como para los prints. De esta forma montar un outfit a las 8 de la mañana no será del calibre de resolver un sudoku nivel 23344.
2. Stripes are back stronger than ever. Keep in mind the effect you want to achieve: To elongate use vertical ones ( Skirts and trousers ) to create volume us horizontal stripes ( shirts, specially crop tops so that the volume is not added on your tummy)Las rayas han vuelto con más fuerza que nunca. Tened presente el efecto que buscamos para la prenda que estamos comprando. Por ejemplo: para estilizar, usamos rayas verticales ( faldas y pantalones) y para añadir volumen usamos las horizontales ( crop tops que no cubran nuestro estómago de forma ceñida)
3. Blood Orange is for a lot of fashion sources, the colour of the spring. I really like for tops but I also in bikinis and trousers could be fun. El conocido naranja sangre está siendo para muchas publicaciones de moda, el color estrella. A mi me gusta especialmente para parted de arriba pero también lo veo interesante en pantalones e incluso bikinis. ¡Estad atentas a los escaparates!
4. Black and White is all over the place in stripes, prints and solid colours paired together, it is all up to you! You would see it more in stripes, but also tribal, floral or a simple combination of white shirt and black skirt. You already have this trend in your wardrobe! And what's more, this trend is something to invest in as you can reuse it in the future without looking cray cray ;) Blanco y Negro inundan las tiendas y por consiguiente nuestros armarios, lo mejor es que no hay una manera exacta de llevarlo y es una tendencia que no importa cuanto nos dure la fiebre, porque la podemos volver a rescatar sin problemas en el futuro. La forma en que más viene es con el print de rayas, pero también en floral, tribal on en colores solidos. Es decir, algo tan sencillo como combinar una camisa blanca con una falda negra.

Beauty-full nail HAUL!

Hey Dolls! So This post was going to be originally a video but I have been sick so I am not able to film basically because I have no voice :/ But thank God I can still write you guys right?
Last week I went shopping with my bestie and had a lot of fun buying this really cute stuff so let's get started!

First of all I got this nail polish at H&M it is such a unique color because it it light purple with a billion of shimmer on it! It is lovely !

Then I got this Mini nail polish set called " Summer nails" from H&M too I found super cute all the colours but specially "Metallic Blue" That has chunks of glitter and I found that so cool!

 I absolutely love this vanilla ginger Lipbalm as I needed a lipbalm to have in my room but I wanted it to be vaseline because it has so many uses and it moisturizes like crazy, so when I found this product I thought it was perfect as it is so vintage looking that it looks like a dorm decor element and it is vaseline based so this is THE product I was looking for! This lipbalm is from H&M as well :) ( Nor sponsoring me nor giving this for free in case you guys were wondering)

 I last but not least I got this lovely Guess Iphone case it was less than 20E and I fell in love with it so deeply... LOL!
